Pomona parks are now smoke-free thanks to YOU!

As of April 2nd, 2015, all Pomona parks and city facilities are now smoke-free! 

For the past three years, we have been coming together to create a healthier, cleaner Pomona, and as of April 2nd 2015, Clean Air Pomona reached its goal of making smoke-free parks a reality. With the help of residents, community agencies, and elected officials, we successfully advocated for a smoke-free ordinance that now helps protect our air and helps bring us one step closer to a healthier quality of life. We can now enjoy our beautiful outdoor spaces without harmful second-hand smoke, including fumes from e-cigs and vapes. None of this would have been possible without the endless help of our youth advocates that helped reach, survey, educate, and mobilize the community- THANK YOU.
